Daniel Seiple – Untitled (Boat from the Ravi River)

Sky Limit Projekt, November 2008

The Ravi River is one of the five main rivers of Punjab. It is also called “The River of Lahore” since the city is located on its eastern bank.  It rises in the Himalayas in the Himachal Pradesh state, India, and flows past Chamba, turning southwest at the boundary of Jammu and Kashmir. It then flows to and along the Pakistani border before entering the Pakistani Punjab province. In Pakistan, it runs past Lahore and turns west near Kamalia, emptying into the Chenab River after a course of about 450 mi (725 km).
